Request account deletion
- Email Code.Youssefaayoub@gmail.com from the address connected to your MedBank account.
- Include your full name, account email, and the words “Delete my MedBank account and associated data.”
- Respond to any reasonable ownership-verification request from MedBank support.
- After verification, the request is normally completed within 30 days. Support sends a confirmation when deletion is complete.
Data deleted
A verified account-deletion request removes or disconnects:
- the Supabase Auth account and authentication identifiers;
- profile, contact, approval, and account-access data;
- course enrollments and enrollment requests;
- test blocks, responses, notes, flags, analytics, and review queues tied to the account;
- notification state, lesson progress, and user-scoped app and pending-sync data.
Data retained
Shared course content, question banks, explanations, announcements, imported materials, and administrator-created records that are not personal to the deleted account may remain so MedBank continues to work for other users.
Limited support, security, fraud-prevention, audit, legal, and residual backup records may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion, then deleted or anonymized. A record may be retained longer only when required by law.
Retention periods
20 days: previous-test history is automatically pruned after 20 days.
30 days: a verified account-deletion request is normally completed within 30 days.
90 days: limited residual backups and support, security, audit, fraud-prevention, or legal records may remain for up to 90 days after deletion, unless longer retention is legally required.
Local device data
After requesting account deletion, remove any remaining local MedBank data by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app. Clearing local data alone does not delete the hosted MedBank account.
